Beyoncé fed up with Lady Gaga?

About a year after their tandem collaborations, there are rumors that Beyoncé is ready to hang up on Lady Gaga.

A source inside Bey’s camp told the National Enquirer that the “Diva” singer has had just about enough of Lady Gaga’s ultra-artsy, scene-stealing antics. There’s no word on when things went sour in their relationship as the two seemed to get along very well while working on Bey’s “Video Phone” and Gaga’s “Telephone” in 2010, but tensions boiled over last month.

“The bad blood between Beyoncé and Gaga has been brewing for months, but it really exploded after the Grammy Awards in February,” the insider said. “Beyoncé thought Gaga’s entrance was way over the top and ridiculously self-serving. Every other artist worked the red carpet in a traditional manner, but Gaga made it all about her.”

Lady Gaga, although shocked by Bey’s disapproval, has never been overly concerned with what others think of her style. Now she expects Bey to eat her words!

“At this point, Gaga is used to people criticizing her. It’s part of being so successful,” said a source from Gaga’s camp. “But she never expected it from Beyoncé whom she saw as a friend and supporter. Gaga plans to confront her the next time they run into each other and demand an apology.”

Gaga might not want to hold her breath too long waiting on Bey to give into that demand, however. “She’s telling people that she wants to take Gaga down a few pegs,” Beyoncé’s source said.

Giving a little more insight into the “Halo” singer’s thoughts, they added, “Beyoncé believes that musicians should let their talent do the talking, and she finds it really tacky that Gaga constantly tries to one-up everyone with her ridiculous fashion statements.”
