Chris Brown might end up doing more community service after his alleged violent tantrum following an interview on "Good Morning America."
According to reports, the singer fled the interview and stormed off to his dressing room where he screamed in frustration, ripped his sleeveless T-shirt off and broke a window at the studio.
Chris was obviously on set to promote his latest album, F.A.ME., which hits stores today. However, Robin Roberts immediately began asking him about the legal situation with Rihanna, and although Chris tried to steer the conversation back to the album, she did not acquiesce.
Robin asked whether Chris and Rihanna have seen one another. He responded, "It’s not really a big deal to me now as far as that situation. I think I’m passed that in my life. Today’s the album day, so that’s what I’m focused on.
"This album is what I want them to talk about and not stuff that happened two years ago," he said when Robin again brought up the infamous incident.
Apparently, Chris, who is still on probation, was so enraged that he confronted a segment producer by getting in his face and staring him down; however, witnesses allegedly pulled the men apart before anyone became physical.
Although the story is still unfolding, images from outside the studio show Chris shirtless in the 45-degree New York weather.
F.A.M.E. is Chris’ second release since the ’09 incident of abuse involving his ex-girlfriend Rihanna. It’s believed that the album released a few months after that altercation, Graffiti, only sold 102,000 copies in its first week because of the negative publicity.
However, it seems most of Chris’ fans have put that behind them.
S2S Facebook fan Laqueeta Coleman said, “I LOVE Chris Brown!!! I don’t give a darn!” Most of the other commenters shared the same sentiment.
However, Rihanna hasn’t had much to say about Chris’ professional resurrection, and it seems she prefers to keep it that way.
“You obviously want to talk about Chris Brown. I don’t,” she said when asked about him during an interview with Fabulous magazine.
Chris seems to be over it, too. Earlier in the month, he told Page Six, “At the end of the day, if I walk around apologizing to everybody, I’m gonna look like a damn fool.”
Although he’s avoided discussing the incident in recent interviews, his actions on the "GMA" set would suggest it’s still a sensitive subject.
