It was Take Baby To Work Day yesterday for Jennifer Hudson, who hit up “The View” with her baby boy.
J.Hud must have had a hard time finding a babysitter on Tuesday, because when she sat down with Sherri Shepherd & Co., she brought along her son, David Jr.
Like any proud mama, Jen bragged about how her son is already showing signs of being bound for the spotlight. She even showed a video of him dancing to “Angel,” a song off of her most recent CD.
Eventually, though, it was time for Jen to chat with “The View” hosts. One of the first things they asked about were the judges’ critiques on “American Idol.” Supposedly some viewers think the new judges are being too soft on contestants and Jen agreed.
“It’s good to be critical. If people sit and tell you, ‘You’re perfect, you’re perfect, you’re perfect,” you can never grow,” said Jen, who revealed that Simon Cowell’s barbs never bothered her. “He gave a good dose of what the industry is like. You can’t sugar-coat things for people because when they get into it then they can’t handle it.”
But while his mom was chatting with the ladies, David was under the impression that he should be answering questions, too. In fact, he never stopped talking in the clip below.
