Ciara’s dating Amar’e Stoudemire?

Ciara is following in LaLa Vasquez’ foot steps and hooking up with a player from the New York Knicks.

The New York Post reports that Ciara has been seen grabbing a bite to eat with Amar’e Stoudemire at least twice over the last few weeks. The pair met while Ciara was watching a Knicks game with LaLa, who is married to one of the team’s newest recruits, Carmelo Anthony.

“Ciara is best friends with LaLa and has been attending Knicks games with her, including Monday’s game,”one source told the Post. “Through Melo and LaLa, her friendship with Amar’e has developed. They have been seen out together on numerous occasions.”

Most recently, Ciara and Amar’e we spotted eating dinner at STK with 15 friends, includin LaLa and Carmelo, about two weeks ago. Reportedly, Amar’e could be overheard asking for a private table. He and CiCi were also spied chowing down at The Collective.

A rep for the Amar’e would neither confirm nor deny the budding romance, but did say, “I know that they are friends.” Ciara’s people couldn’t be reached for comment on the relationship.

A source close to the team, however, wasn’t so tight-lipped. “Ciara is extremely close to LaLa and always sits with her in Carmelo’s seats at the games,” the insider dished. “Ciara has become friends with Amar’e because they are all spending time together.”

Last night, however, Ciara was spotted at a Knicks’ game against the New Jersey Netsat Madison Square Garden last night. Despite her recent record label drama, she was all smiles.

This wouldn’t be CiCi’s first high-profile boo. She’s been linked to 50 Cent and Bow Wow in the past, but this January, she had to shake off rumors of tryst with LeBron James of the Miami Heat…
