    Thandie Newton team with Tyler Perry again

    Thandie Newton did such a good job in For Colored Girls, Tyler Perry is bringing her onto this next project. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Thandie will play the single mom that Tyler’s character falls for in Good Deeds.

    Good Deeds is a romantic drama, and Tyler is promising lots of it for this movie. He’ll star in it as entrepreneur Glen Deeds who’s about to get married to a sophisticated lady when a single mother catches his eye.


    Jennifer Hudson hits up AOL

    Jennifer Hudson graced the Internet with a short set via AOL Session. J. Hud performed “Where You At,” “Angel” and her album’s title track “I Remember Me,” but our favorite was “I Got This.”

    She powered out a motivational rendition of the song, which you can watch below.



    Tracy Morgan unleashes on ‘Conan’

    Tracy Morgan showed up on “Conan” Tuesday night to talk about his kidney transplant, his new film, his resemblance to Colin Powell, pretty girls farting and whatever else popped up in his head.

    “If I wasn’t in show business, I’d be a messenger,” said Tracy, who shared that women love men who ride bicycles and work on the back of sanitation trucks.

    Some have speculated that Tracy was under the influence of herbal supplements, but it’s possible he was just in rare comedic form.

    Chris Brown uncut?

    Chris Brown has released a new video reminiscent of the BET “Uncut” videos of the past.

    The video for the song, “Spend It All” starts with a warning that viewers must be 18 and over.

    The footage below, although pixelated, shows lots of booty shaking and a shirtless Chris Brown performing in front of a live audience.

    LeBron James’ mom arrested


    LeBron James’ mother Gloria is in trouble again. The mother of the Miami Heat player was reportedly arrested early Thursday morning at the posh Fontainebleau hotel in Miami Beach. The arrest allegedly had to do with an assault. However, details are still forthcoming.


    It’s not the first time Gloria has been in trouble with the law. In 2006, she was arrested in Ohio for DUI.



    Monica helps out on ‘The Voice’


    Cee Lo Green called in ATL royalty to help him out on NBC’s “The Voice.”


    R&B singer Monica tweeted that she’s been on set with the “Forget You” Grammy winner to help him cultivate the raw talent that he’s selected for his team on the show.


    “…headed to my 2nd day of taping The Voice with @ the show is really special because it will give many with talent an opportunity,” she tweeted.


    Monica also gave props to show coaches Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine, both of whom she said put together great teams, but not teams as good as Cee Lo’s. The show premieres April 26.
