Teyana Taylor denies attack
Teyana Taylor insists that she’s innocent of attacking a woman in California last weekend. Teyana allegedly punched a woman in the face and then stomped on her for making some comments about Teyana’s friend, Chris Brown.
As Teyana told her followers on Twitter, she had nothing to do with the attack. “I’m being accused of something I didn’t do, #STOPTRYNABRINGMEDOWN it’s a big year for me, I’m WINNING!! #MadeasBigHappyFamily in theaters 4/22,″ she tweeted earlier this week, also taking the opportunity to hype her new movie.
No arrests have been made yet regarding the incident, but police are seeking Teyana for questioning.
Trump in good with ‘the Blacks’?
Donald Trump said yesterday that he’s “troubled” by President Barack Obama’s strong support from the African-American community, but he’s not too worried that his potential presidential bid will suffer because he’s in good with “the Blacks.”
“I have a great relationship with the Blacks. I’ve always had a great relationship with the Blacks,” Donald said while on Talk 1300 AM radio.
As far as the reality TV realm is concerned, Donald has worked with several Black celebrities. Toccara Jones will be the star of the second season of Donald’s “Ultimate Merger” reality dating show. NeNe Leakes, Dionne Warwick, LaToya Jackson and Lil Jon all competed on “Celebrity Apprentice” together. Donald and his family also appeared on a recent episode of “Oprah.”
However, many critics feel that the mere use of the term “the Blacks” proves that Donald’s relationship with African Americans isn’t as great as he thinks.

Carole’s Daughter hires new faces
Selita Eubanks, Solange Knowles and Cassie are the newest faces representing Carol’s Daughter cosmetics.
“Carol’s Daughter doesn’t have just one direct demographic. Solange’s hair is a different texture than mine. So is Cassie’s. Our skin and body types are different. Today, people are blended. And I think the three of us are a prime example. Women in my family range from vanilla to the deepest chocolate,” Selita told WWD magazine.
The three ladies aren’t replacing current spokeswomen Jada Pinkett-Smith and Mary J. Blige; Solange, Cassie and Selita are simply being added to the mix.
