If Katherine Jackson can’t fulfill her duties as the legal guardian of Michael Jackson’s kids, Diana Ross will be stepping in.
According to RadarOnline.com, there’s new information that confirms that Diana would get custody of Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket if Catherine dies.
A source close to Michael’s family revealed that Diana was, in fact, listed in the pop icon’s will as the guardian of his three children. There were rumors that Diana turned down the responsibiity, but the insider assured that’s not true.
"Diana has made no moves whatsoever not fulfill her role that Michael intended for her," the source stated. "Michael didn’t trust anyone in his family besides his mother to raise the children. Michael loved Diana and chose her for a very specific reason."
The Jackson family insider also that while Diana has yet to get involved in the kids lives, "she will step in if there’s an immediate need to do so."
