Chris Bosh sues to keep ex off ‘BBW’

Chris Bosh doesn’t care what Shaunie O’Neal wants, he’s against his ex-girlfriend being featured on “Basketball Wives,” and he’s suing to ensure she steers clear of the VH1 hit.

According to Chris, Allison Mathis’ appearance on the show would violate his privacy and could potentially damage his brand: himself.

“Though the reality television show is titled ‘Basketball Wives,’ the featured women in the show are not the current wives of NBA players,” Chris said. “Instead the show follows the lives of women who are dating or who dated NBA basketball players or who were formerly married to NBA players.”

While that’s not news to anyone who watches the show or grounds for a lawsuit, Chris wants to prevent Allison, the mother of his child, from appearing on the show because she’d presumably make money from exploiting their past relationship, according to the Associated Press.

Chris is seeking damages and hoping to block Allison from appearing on the show.

Maybe he’s hoping Shaunie, executive producer of the reality series, will cast his new wife, Adrienne Williams, on the show. Chances are her opinion of him would be much more flattering than Allison’s.

“Basketball Wives” is currently in production for its third season, and has made household names out of its biggest personalities, including Jennifer Williams and Evelyn Lozada, who is now engaged to the NFL’s Chad Ochocinco.
