Shaunie O’Neal and the ladies of "Basketball Wives" will be back sooner than you think.
VH1 announced that "Basketball Wives" is set to tipoff at 8 p.m. (EST) on May 30 as Shaunie, Evelyn Lozada, Tami Roman, Jennifer Williams and Royce Reed welcome Meeka Claxton to their strained clique.
Tensions were still running high at the end of last season as Tami and Evelyn argued over Evelyn’s past with Tami’s ex-husband. And we’ve already heard reports that the cast got into at least one other public argument last month at a polo match. No doubt the explosive footage will make it to air, and we can’t wait to see what sparked the fight.
"Basketball Wives" will be the lead in to the series premiere of "Single Ladies," airing May 30 at 9 p.m. (EST). A two-hour movie will introduce audiences to the series produced by Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit. From there, "Single Ladies" will air as a dramedy in that same timeslot. LisaRaye McCoy, Stacey Dash and Charity Shea star in the series and the movie as three very different girlfriends living and loving in Atlanta.
Later that week, the members of Three-6 Mafia will put on their chef hats and business suits to compete for their own restaurant on "Famous Food."
Those will have to hold you over until August 22 when "LaLa’s Full Court Life" debuts at 10 p.m. (EST). The honeymoon is over, but life is still good for LaLa Vasquez and her family as they move to New York where her hubby Carmelo Anthony is playing for the New York Knicks. After living in Los Angeles for so many years, how will she readjust to life back home in NYC? Find out later this summer.
And after LaLa’s show, be sure to stick around for "The T.O. Show," which is returning for its third season on August 22 at 10:30 p.m. (EST). This round, Terrell Owens is living it up in Miami after Kari turned down his marriage proposal last season. That’s fine with Kita, who is determined to have some fun while helping Terrell figure out the next step in his career. Of course, she’s not exactly loving all the women that wind up at their door, aiming to take a shot at T.O.’s heart. And where’s Mo? She’s having a hard time choosing between staying home and tending to her family or heading out to Miami for work.
