    Lupe & Trey debut single at MTV Movie Awards

    Lupe Fiasco and Trey Songz are two of the performers scheduled to hit the stage Sunday at the MTV Movie Awards.

    The two will debut their new collaborative track, “Out of My Head.” Lupe will also treat fans to a performance of “The Show Goes On.”

    Nicki Minaj will also be on the scene, but she will be presenting an award, not singing.

    J.Lo, Christina Aguilera and Cameron Diaz will be among the other celebrities on hand.


    Lil Wayne keeps ‘em waiting

    Perfection takes time, and Lil Wayne is taking as much as he needs to complete Tha Carter IV.

    Initially, the album was supposed to be available in May. In April, that date was pushed back to June. Now, MTV News is reporting that August 29 will be the day.

    Will it be worth the wait? Only time will tell, but don’t hold your breath.



    Tyra’s humbled by Harvard

    Tyra Banks is learning a lot as a student at Harvard.

    Being a product of on-the-job training, she’s finding out that some of her instincts were correct, but some haven’t been so on point.

    “It’s career changing,” she said. “I’m really in transition, first from modeling to producing, and now I’m a true businesswoman,” she said.

    Tyra also talks about the upcoming All-Star season of “America’s Next Top Model.” Watch.



    ‘Unsung’ returns

    TV One’s acclaimed series, “Unsung,” returns for an all-new season on Monday.

    The biography series “sheds light on some of the most influential, talented and yet, somehow forgotten R&B, Soul and Gospel artists of the last 30 years,” according to the TV One site.

    This season, the spotlights shine on Deniece Williams, Big Daddy Kane, The Spinners, The Ohio Players, Alexander O’Neal and Cherrelle and Evelyn “Champagne” King.

    Watch how Deniece ended up singing a song for the Footloose soundtrack.





    Stedman gushes about Oprah

    What does Stedman Graham love about Oprah Winfrey? She’s cheap … and she cooks!

    Oprah’s beau visited "The Gayle King Show" to discuss the former Queen of Daytime from an insider’s perspective.

    “Don’t mess with her Tupperware. Bring it back,” he said, describing how she tries to save money.

    What’s Oprah using all that Tupperware for? Stedman and Gayle agree that Oprah knows how to throw down in the kitchen.

    “She’s #1,” he said.
