Monica and Shannon Brown have announced their second wedding ceremony by sending out elaborate invitations.
Think of it as the next chapter in their fairytale romance. Monica and Shannon, who got hitched during a family-only ceremony in January, this week sent out 300 invites to their second wedding.
According to the extravagant invitation, their family and friends will be gathering around 6 p.m. on July 9 at an undisclosed location in Los Angeles where the newlyweds will exchange vows again.
Atlanta’s V-103 reports that the nuptial notices were crafted by Sandi Spells Designs of College Park.
“I would say this is probably the most extravagant I’ve created. Definitely the heaviest," Sandi said, before describing the invite in detail. "I’ve used acrylic and fabric before, but this is all acrylic. And usually something like that takes a month. But when she called, I just had an idea for the whole project.”
V-103 DJ Ryan Cameron opened his invite live on air and commented that it looked like "a summon from God!"
Monica and Shannon met last year during the filming of her music video "Love All Over Me," where he played the groom. It seems that life wasted no time imitating art as news of their real-life relationship began circulating shortly after the video’s debut.
Scroll down for an up-close look at the invite, which is nearly the size of wedding album.
