Fans have already seen footage of upcoming fights on season 3 of “Basketball Wives,” but it seems that’s only the beginning.
Co-stars Tami Roman and Meeka Claxton, whose initial meeting didn’t exactly get off to a great start, took their beef international, according to TMZ.com.
While taping in Rome, the ladies apparently all gathered at a nightclub where Tami allegedly confronted Meeka about things she’s said and done on the show.
The two reportedly engaged in an altercation that ended with Tami punching Meeka in the face. There’s no love lost between Meeka and Tami, who has described her co-star as a “troublemaker.”
Viewers seem to agree with Tami’s opinion of Meeka, the newcomer to the show.
S2S user 1great69woman wrote, “Meeka has come in and is ALREADY being Messy, a follower.”
Although Meeka blames her portrayal on editing, as so many reality stars before her have done, it’s clear that her relationships with Tami and Royce Reed are genuinely strained, and that can’t be entirely blamed on editing.
This isn’t the first time the two have gotten physical. In April, the ladies reportedly tussled at a Miami polo match.
Since the news about the Italy brawl spread, Meeka tweeted a warning for her followers not to believe everything they read; although, it’s not clear whether she was referring to the TMZ story.
Tami, however, spoke directly to the TMZ piece, writing, “Meeka is not a victim!”
