    Antoine Fuqua drops Tupac

    Tupac Shakur’s biopic may have hit another roadblock. WoooHa.com reports that director Antoine Fuqua has officially ditched Tupac to head up Eminem’s boxing movie Southpaw.

    Southpaw is the story of a welterweight boxer, to be played by Em, whose quick rise to fame causes him many personal problems. With Antoine out of the picture for Tupac, though, it’s not clear what will happen to the biopic.


    Tami Roman talks catchphrase terms

    Tami Roman’s cool with catchphrases, but there are some basic guidelines they have to follow.

    "There’s nothing wrong with having a catchphrase," Tami told VH1. "There’s nothing wrong with creating a slogan that you feel represents you as long as its not at the expense of someone else."

    When Tami served Evelyn Lozada with papers, you may have noticed that she was wearing a T-shirt with her own catchphrase, "It wasn’t not funny!", from her days on MTV’s "The Real World."

    Erykah Badu to headline Tupac party

    Erykah Badu will be the main event as music lovers gather in Atlanta to celebrate what would have been Tupac’s 40th birthday on June 16.

    "I am deeply honored to have been invited by Afeni Shakur to celebrate her son’s remarkable life," Erykah said in a statement. "I don’t take this distinction for granted."

    The event will be hosted by Mike Epps, and it will also include performances by Roya Ayers, Eric Roberson, Too $hort and Bun B.


    Young Money to perform at BET Awards

    As the artist with the second-most nominations, the BET Awards would not be complete without a performance from Lil Wayne.

    Weezy, who has five nominations under his belt, will take the stage with Drake to bless the crowd with material from Tha Carter IV. To his credit, Drake has four nominations of his own.

    Alicia Keys and Chris Brown will also be performing during the ceremony, airing live on BET Networks at 8 p.m. on June 26.


    Sherri Shepherd supports Tracy Morgan

    Just as Chris Rock took back his support for Tracy Morgan, another colleague is stepping up to back the embattled comedian.

    "The Tracy I know has a beautiful heart," Sherri Shepherd told CNN. Sherri plays Tracy’s wife on NBC’s "30 Rock."

    "The View" co-host feels that Tracy has learned a valuable lesson after his ill-received jokes about how he could not accept a homosexual child. "I think Tracy’s realizing you have to be careful what you say because you represent so many more people than just you," Sherri said. "Anything you say affects everybody you work with."

    Furthermore the actress is confident that Tracy can bounce back from this scandal. "It sounds like his apology is very sincere and I am glad he is making amends," she said. "Tracy Morgan is funny. I don’t think this is going to keep him down."


    Michelle Obama preparing for ‘iCarly’

    “I’m the coolest mom on the face of the planet,” Michelle Obama said, revealing that friends of her daughters don’t believe that she’ll be guest-starring on “iCarly.”

    “I’m going to put on my acting cape. I’ve been memorizing my lines. I am terrified,” she admitted.

    “iCarly,” a Nickelodeon sitcom, is based on the life of a young military kid. “This is an example of the way we can integrate these storylines into shows,” said Michelle, who is working with Jill Biden to encourage support for military families.

    Gary Dourdan arrested again

    Gary Dourdan, who recently starred in the T.D. Jakes’ film Jumping the Broom, was arrested on Monday and charged with drug possession.

    According to reports, the “CSI” and “A Different World” actor was carrying Ecstasy pills when he taken into custody.

    Police arrived on the scene when Gary allegedly crashed his car into two parked vehicles. He has been released on $10,000 bail.

    This isn’t the first time Gary has been caught with an illegal substance. In 2008, he was found guilty of three counts of felony drug possession.



    Jada talks family on ‘The View’


Jada Pinkett Smith gushed about her husband and the romance that’s still alive in their 14-year marriage.

    “You gotta keep that fire going,” Jada said as Barbara Walters shared that Will Smith had Jada’s “The View” dressing room sprinkled with rose petals.

    Jada also spoke about raising children in the Hollywood environment.

    “When kids are brought up in such affluence, you have to connect them to their own power. They have to be able to identify the tools that they have to make it in the world and do the things that they want to do,” she said.

    Chad Ochocinco battles Weezy

    Chad Ochocinco tweeted photos of himself in the music studio with Young Money mogul Lil Wayne.


    Chad’s not new to the rap game, having released a rap music single in ’09 with Weezy. Then earlier this month, Chad challenged Wayne to a rap battle.


    According to Chad’s photo captions, Weezy accepted the challenge and the two met in the studio yesterday to go head to head.


    "In the booth battling @liltunechi (only if y’all could hear this $h_t)," Chad wrote.
