Nivea busted for DUI in Atlanta

Nivea got in some trouble on Sunday morning. Bossip.com reports that Nivea was arrested for driving under the influence shortly after leaving Toya Carter’s wedding in Atlanta.

Nivea crashed her BMW X6 into a tree near the corner of Mariette Street and Bolton Road around 1 a.m. There’s word that she had an infant in the back seat, but no one was hurt.

Supposedly, Nivea got loud with authorities, shouting, "B!#ch, I could buy your job, h@&!” She was later taken to Fulton County Correctional Facility. It’s not clear whether she has been released yet.

    Tyrese pens fatherhood poem

Tyrese decided to wish proud papas everywhere a happy Father’s Day by sharing his thoughts on a fatherhood in a poem.

The piece, posted to his blog on Sunday, reads:

"On this day, we as fathers are celebrated around the world…
I am more than just a man…I am a father.

A boy is excited about the opportunity to be a dad.
A father is more focused on the “responsibility” of being a father.

As a father it is a responsibility to create the standards in our kids’ lives, I am not just semen. I love you, and you love me and in our family we created “we” in our children…

    I am power, I am intelligence, I am education, I am integrity, I am God-fearing spirituality, I am consistent…
As a father, sometimes I have to be away. I am constantly in the field hunting for my family’s survival.

I am king, therefore you are my queen. President Obama has created a new standard and removed every excuse a Black man could ever have of NOT being a father…I am more than I appear to be, I am more than just a man.
 I….AM….FATHER!!
Fathers…Even though it seems like your effort is sometimes overlooked, God is watching and he knows your heart.

To all of the REAL FATHERS around the world.

Through good, bad or ugly relationships with the mother…
If you are NOT there for your kids, it is ONLY the kids that suffer in the end.

Take a stand and do any means necessary to be a part of your kids’ lives.
God knows your heart…God bless all FATHERS around the WORLD for Father’s Day!
    Salute!!"

    Chris Rock talks sex scandals

Chris Rock visited the ladies of “The View” on Friday to talk about political sex scandals.

“Men and women, we have scandals together. There’re no scandals. There’re relationship scandals. He’s not having a scandal because he had sex with himself,” Chris said.

Chris also talked about how his wife keeps him in check.

“I just assume my wife is going to go through everything. I just assume my wife is going to show up at any moment … I just assume she’s always going to be there,” said Chris, who refers to women as the sexual parents in a relationship.

If she has it her way, the former Queen of Daytime Talk may score one of her biggest interviews ever, now that her 25-year show has come to an end.

Oprah Winfrey is courting O.J. Simpson, who she says she wants to interview on her OWN network under the condition that the former murder suspect confesses.

“I have a dream of O.J. Simpson confessing to me," Oprah said. “I am going to make that happen, people.”
