Alicia Keys plays the Beacon Theatre
Alicia Keys wrapped up her busy week with a show at the Beacon Theatre, which she streamed live online last night.
Alicia sat down at the piano to perform the entire album Songs In A Minor Deluxe Edition for a standing-room-only crowd gathered in New York City. The singer also threw in some of the biggest hits from her career and covers of Mary J. Blige’s "Real Love," Tupac’s "I Ain’t Mad At Cha" and El DeBarge’s "Stay With Me" to round out a 30-song set.
If you couldn’t make it to the show, her thank-you to fans for supporting her decade-long career, you can watch it below.
Beyoncé performs at Target in Harlem
Some artists might consider it beneath them to perform at Target, right next to the Clorox and the garden hoses, but Beyoncé did just that yesterday in Harlem.
The “Crazy in Love” artist performed for more than 150 children from the local Boys and Girls Club. The Target store was celebrating its one-year anniversary, and the children were dancing to Bey’s song “Countdown” when Beyoncé walked onto the stage.
"I’d like to thank the Boys and Girls Club for coming out. I hope y’all had fun learning the choreography to ‘Countdown’ today," she told the crowd. "I hope you guys enjoy the new album 4."

Amber Rose not competing with Kardashians
Everyone else might be trying to keep up with the Kardashians but not Amber Rose. The model said she’s not trying to outshine Kim and her clan by shooting her own reality show, titled "Behind Her Shades."
"I’m not really in any competition," Amber told RumorFix.com. "I’m, like, way different than those girls, so I just bring my own thing to the table. It’s a look into a my life, my businesses, my family, my radio show."
Amber said the series is more about letting people know who she is apart from the famous rappers she’s been involved with, including Kanye West and current boo Wiz Khalifa. "I’ve been quiet for long enough, so I want to come out and just be an open book and let people into my life," she explained.
What we want to know is whether her show will include the hunt for new representation. Nude pics of Amber in some rather compromising positions have reportedly caused her agents at CAA to drop her from their roster.
"The company that I was working with no longer wants to work with me because of these pics and that prevents me from getting money to take care of my family," she confirmed to RumorFix. "I’m sorry for letting my young Rosebuds down."
