T.I.: ‘See you in September’

As T.I.’s release date draws closer, the rapper wants all his fans to know he’s got something special planned for them.

The rapper wrote another letter from prison acknowledging some of the people who sent him a few words of encouragement during his incarceration. Whether they were in the form of letters, cards, or even tweets, T.I. wrote that he’s grateful for everyone that was "overall holding me down."

"I appreciate the continued love and support that everyone has been giving me," he wrote. "This chapter in my story will soon be coming to an end and I will be back in the flesh with you sooner than later."

His wife, Tiny (of course!), Drake, J.Cole, Amar’e Stoudemire and Nelly were among the people T.I. thanked.

Tip promised that his expressions of gratitude won’t end once he gets out of prison, confirming that he’ll be set free within the next few months. "I can’t thank y’all enough for keeping it 1 thousand and as soon as I’m able I WILL RETURN THE FAVOR!" he stated. "I love y’all and I’ll see you in September."

T.I. didn’t state how he’d be thanking fans, but it’s likely that his appreciation will come in the form of an album or some other collection of music.
