Keyshia Cole has a lot on her plate as she gets ready to shoot a reality show based around her big day.
Keyshia and Daniel wed in a private ceremony earlier this year in Las Vegas, but the happy couple still wants a lavish wedding of their own.
This time around, their nuptials are going to be a big production in every sense of the word as it seems that cameras will follow Keyshia and Daniel through the planning process as she returns to TV.
Earlier this week, Keyshia revealed plans for a new show, tweeting, "Omw to vegas tomorrow with Gib and dj and both the fams to shoot the first week of our new reality show. …+++countdown to the BIG WEDDING."
This is not the first time that the "Long Way Down" singer has allowed cameras into her life. She and her family once starred in a reality show for BET, titled "Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is."
Although Keyshia and Daniel are in production for their show, there’s no word on where or when the series will air. She said they’d pick a network home for the as-yet untitled series when production wraps up, so that everyone can witness their second big day.
Speaking of weddings, though, many people found it very curious that Keyshia was M.I.A. for her BFF Monica’s wedding to Shannon Brown in Los Angeles earlier this month. Not only was Keyshia not part of the wedding party, she wasn’t even among the guests watching the ceremony.
Keyshia said she had to miss Monica’s big day due to scheduling conflicts while on the road for the Love Letters tour. "@SimplyZMG @necolebitchie @ MonicaBrown – Was on tour that’s why I couldn’t make it, spoke 2 Mo a few days ago. Very happy 4 both her N Shannon," Keyshia explained via Twitter.
She added, "Didn’t really want 2 respond. U guys should keep n mind we r not ‘HOLLYWOOD.’ Mo and my communication will [not] always B thru social networking."
Monica has yet to publically comment on the matter. While some people think Keyshia’s just copying Monica double wedding idea, Keyshia was the first to announce her plans to have a second ceremony right after she and Daniel got married.
