Nicki Minaj glams up for MAC
Nicki Minaj is taking over for Lady Gaga as one of the new faces of MAC Cosmetics. The "Super Bass" rapper will be one of the reps for Viva Glam, which benefits HIV/AIDS programs. Ricky Martin will also endorse the line of lip products.
Nicki and Ricky will step into the new roles starting February 2012, but this marks her second time working with the brand. Last November, MAC created a Pink 4 Friday lipstick, a candy-pink hue, in celebration of Nicki’s debut album Pink Friday.
Drag queen RuPaul and musician Cyndi Lauper have also repped Viva Glam in the past for MAC.
No show for DMX
DMX’s camp said the rapper has no plans to star in his own reality show. The rapper’s reps told AllHipHop.com that reports indicating he’s in talks to star in his own series, "X-tended family," are untrue.
Supposedly, the series would show X reuniting with 10 of his kids, some of whom he’d be meeting for the first time ever.
"My guess is it’s coming from Yadia [one of X’s babymamas] and her people," a source close to DMX told the website. "This guy also set up a press conference that I had to shut down because X knew nothing about it."
