LisaRaye McCoy denies ‘Single Ladies’ firing

LisaRaye McCoy is addressing rumors that she got "Single Ladies" castmate Stacey Dash booted from the show.

When LisaRaye heard the rumor that Stacey might not be coming back for season 2 of "Single Ladies," she wanted fans to know that they probably know more about the situation than she does.

LisaRaye hit up Facebook earlier this week to explain that she doesn’t know anything about Stacey’s status on the show, but that her spot as Val wasn’t in question because of their supposed beef.

“As everyone know I am in Italy vacationing. I was just made aware of the lies that are being spread by Mediatakeout and other blogs that like to create false stories," LisaRaye wrote. "I was not even aware that Stacy Dash had been fired from ‘Single Ladies.’"

She added, "Furthermore if she has been fired that is a network decision. I don’t have the power to get her fired nor do I have any beef with her. Now im going to go continue enjoying my vacation!”

Supposedly, Stacey was getting ejected from the show because of her demands and less-than-pleasant attitude on set. It was reported before the show debuted in May that one taping had come to an abrupt halt when Stacey stormed off set, demanding that someone beat up LisaRaye.

For now, though, fans of "Single Ladies" should expect to see Stacey reprise her role as Val when the show returns in 2012. “No casting decisions have been made for season 2 of ‘Single Ladies,’" VH1 told
