There’s word that Jackie Christie’s daughter has started a campaign against the controversial Basketball Wife.
Someone claiming to be Jackie’s eldest daughter, Ta’Kari Christie, has been busy on Twitter revealing some family secrets. According to tweeter @KariLeeChristie, the "Basketball Wives: L.A." star kicked her and her kids out on the street back in February for an as-yet undisclosed reason.
"#itreallymakesmemad That Im Sleeping On PPl Couches With My Two Babies And The House my mom @jackiechristie Kickee me out of is still empty," she tweeted on August 7.
Now, Ta’Kari is supposedly homeless, but she and her sons have been able to crash with whoever is kind enough to take them in. Not everyone is buying @KariLeeChristie’s story, though. She’s simply dismissed those who don’t, tweeting last week, "u guys dont know her..im telling u ..u guys know jackie christie..i know jackie christie warren lee taylor barrington."
In an effort to drive her numbers up, @KariLeeChristie has been promising to release a secret every time she reaches a given benchmark. With 343 followers under her belt, the tweeter will supposedly divulge another detail when she reaches 400.
From a read of her Twitter feed, the campaign also seems to be promoting a forthcoming tell-all by Ta’Kari titled, My Mother’s Secret. Ta’Kari has also set up a website, where she’s been blogging about Jackie since July 12, and one of the entries is an account of how she was unceremoniously evicted from her home.
For her part, Jackie (pictured) has mostly remained silent on the claims, but she did release two comments that seemed to address the matter. “For all those who has questions, just be patient.. The answer is coming soon," she tweeted last week. “Just shaking my head really not sure what to say.”
Could this drama be part of her story line on "Basketball Wives: L.A.?" VH1 viewers will have to tune in starting August 29 to find out. In a recent chat with Bossip.com, however, Jackie said that the spin-off is not lacking in drama and she guaranteed that it would have fans on the edge of their seats.
