Bow Wow’s on daddy duty! The rapper, who announced just weeks ago that he is a new father, was spotted carrying his baby girl, Shai, in public.
Bow Wow has said that he’d prefer to keep his daughter away from the spotlight, and he seemed to do a pretty good job of hiding her face from the cameras in the pic below.
Willow Smith "whips" up $4 million
Willow Smith has created a nice bank account for herself thanks to her breakout hit "Whip My Hair."
People magazine reports that the pint-sized pop star earned $4 million from her first single, released last year.
Her big brother, Jaden, has done pretty well for himself, too. According to People, the 13-year-old actor raked in $5 million for his role in a remake of the Karate Kid.
Evelyn Lozada wasn’t prepared for fame
Evelyn Lozada was warned, but the “Basketball Wives” star she was unprepared for the fame that has come since the series’ first season.
“I had no idea, and I will say this: when we finished season one, I had one of the producers tell me, he said, ‘Okay, now, get ready for the ride,’” Evelyn recounted.
“The very first day the show aired, I was watching my Twitter. I probably had about 2500 followers at the time, and the numbers were going up so fast,” said Evelyn, who doesn’t think anything could have prepared for all the good and bad that has come with the show.

Kenny Lattimore preps album
Kenny Lattimore has announced that he’ll have to heal while readying his new studio project. Recordnet reported that the R&B crooner will release an album titled Back to Cool early next year.
He’ll introducer the album with the single "Built to Last," which he’ll perform in Washington, D.C., on August 25.
"It’s a classic Kenny Lattimore song," said Kenny, who, ironically, just split from R&B siren Chante Moore after 9 years of marriage. "It’s got lovely lyrics. It’s a love song about the ups and downs of being in a relationship. It’s a great song."
There’s no word on which company will release the album, as Kenny wants to finish recording the album before choosing a label home. "I didn’t sign to a label," he explained. "I wanted to define the music before I went to a record label."
‘Watch the Throne’ breaks iTunes record
Jay-Z and Kanye West have claimed the throne on iTunes.
TheUrbanDaily.com reports that Watch the Throne, which was released for download on August 8, has set the record for best first week sales.
The record was previously held by Coldplay’s Viva La Vida, which sold 155,000 copies in its first week back in 2008.

50 Cent to release energy drink
50 Cent is getting his fans pumped with a new drink. BevIndustry.com reports that the rap mogul has partnered with Pure Growth Partners to release an energy drink called Street King.
The 2.5-ounce shots, which come in grape or orange-mango flavor, will retail for $2.49 to $2.99 a pop when they hit stores in September. It will be a no-calorie drink that boasts natural flavors and caffeine.
Sales of Street King won’t just fatten 50’s wallet; a portion of the profits will go to buy a daily meal for an underprivileged kid.
