Free T.I. to star in VH1 reality show

Fans who missed T.I. during his incarceration will have a firsthand look at how the Atlanta rapper adjusts to freedom when his reality show premieres on VH1 in December.

“Viewers will get a behind-the-scenes look at the most private and personal moments of one of today’s hottest, most sought after Grammy winning artists as he is reunited with his wife and kids and thrust back into society at this crucial juncture in his life,” reads a press release about the series.

VH1 announced the show on Wednesday—the same day the Grand Hustle artist was released from his 11 -month sentence.

"Feels great to be back where I belong… Back in the arms of those who need me the most," he tweeted. "The storm is over & da sun back out. IT’S OUR TIME TO SHINE SHAWTY!!!!! Welcome to the beginning of our Happy Ending!!!!,” he tweeted after tasting freedom again.

Tiny, T.I.’s wife, tweeted, "I’m all smiles right now ;) My hubby is so worth the wait! Um um Good to me.. He’s back & better than ever$"

The new series, which is currently untitled, won’t be T.I.’s first foray into reality. MTV followed him in as he prepared for incarceration back in 2009 in “T.I.’s Road to Redemption: 45 Days to Go.” He showed up once or twice in Tiny’s BET series "Tiny & Toya" and in BET’s "Iron Ring."

The 10-episode VH1 series is slated to premiere December 5 at 10 p.m. EST.
