Chart-topping artist and actress Kelly Rowland has secured a lot under her belt since the 2005 split of Destiny’s Child. Most recent? Signing with management firm The Collective for worldwide representation, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Selling more than 60 million records with Destiny’s Child, 2.5 million copies on her debut solo album, and 76K copies during her third (and most recent) album’s first week—all worldwide; Kelly has a lot to be proud of.
With accomplishments on the big screen and three successful solo albums, this 30-year-old Texas native can now add judge to her resumé. Kelly is currently a judge on Simon Cowell’s U.K. version of “The X Factor”.
Kelly attributes part of her success to learning how to be a businesswoman. “I’m learning how to delegate in my team," she said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. "It’s so exciting to have my hands on everything, and be so involved.
She added, "I met a management team and they all grouped up: The Collective. And we all talked about the possibilities; they were like, it’s endless! You can do whatever you want."
Well we look forward to seeing exactly what that entails—in and outside of the states. Good luck, Kelly!
