    Game hits #1 with ‘R.E.D.’

Game has knocked Jay-Z and Kanye West from their throne atop the charts. It’s just been announced that Game’s new release The R.E.D. Album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200.

As of yesterday, 97,528 copies of Game’s album have been sold since it dropped on August 23. That’s giving the Los Angeles rapper a lot to celebrate.

"It feels amazing to be back on top!" Game exclaimed in a statement, thanking his fans for allowing him to take a brief break from the sound booth before hitting the masses with new material. "My fans are incredibly loyal. I was able to step away from music for some much-needed personal time with my family. And now that I’ve returned with a new album, they’ve come out strong to support me. I wouldn’t be where I am today without my fans. Period."
