    Vesta Williams found dead


    Vesta Williams has passed a way. The singer’s body was found in a California hotel room last night, but there’s no word on the cause of her death at this time.

    Initial reports stated that Vesta was 48 at the time of her death, but in an interview from last November, she states that she was 53 years old. Take a look.





    Rihanna preps ‘Love’ video

    Rihanna is moving right along with promotion for her new song, "We Found Love."

    According to ThatGrapeJuice.net, the singer will be shooting the video for her dance pop single in London next week.

    There’s no word on who will direct it just yet.


    Tyler Perry to shoot ‘Marriage Counselor’

    Tyler Perry is ready to adapt another one of his hit plays for the big screen. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tyler is ready to start production on The Marriage Counselor.

    Shooting is slated to begin October 25. The Marriage Counselor, which would be Tyler Perry Studios’ 13th movie, centers on the relationship of a professional couple.

    This announcement comes along with news that Tyler’s next fim, Good Deeds, will hit theaters in February.


    Victor Ortiz wants a rematch

    Victor Ortiz wants a do-over of last week’s fight with Floyd Mayweather. The boxer, who headbutted Floyd during a moment of frustation, said that he doesn’t think that Floyd really earned his win on Saturday night.

    In Victor’s opinion, Floyd  "wasn’t all that" and needs to prove himself in a fairer fight.

    "I don’t feel like he’s worthy of the championship, or even to be carrying the name of a champion, unles he gives me the rematch," Victor told TMZ.com, while sporting a black eye and a t-shirt stating "Last Name: Ever. First Name: Greatest."

    Michelle Obama rolls up her sleeves

    First lady Michelle Obama is gearing up to help “Extreme Makeover” begin its new season with class.

    On Sunday’s episode, Michelle will help the show’s team of experts remodel and remake a community resource center for homeless female veterans. Barbara Marshall, a 15-year Navy veteran, is the founder of the center, according to ABC News.

    “When the first lady saw this story, she was so moved by Barbara Marshall and the work she’s doing. The first lady has said she not only wants to do something for the whole house… but she also wanted to something personal for Barbara,” said the show’s EP George Verschoor.
