NeNe Leakes ‘scared’ by ‘Housewives’ changes

As an original cast member of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” NeNe Leakes said the recent changes to the “New York” series have left her a little uneasy.

“For them to take out some of the main characters that we’ve always been watching, it’s a little scary for me,” she said in reference to news that four of the original cast members of “Real Housewives of New York” won’t be returning to the series.

Is NeNe scared a major change in the “RHOA” cast is next?

That’s doubtful since NeNe said the new season, which has just finished taping, is filled with “drama, drama, drama.” So, that may be a good sign for NeNe and her “Atlanta” castmates.

However, the departure of NeNe’s “RHOA” co-star Kim Zolciak is an indication that things are changing in the A. The “Google Me” singer will soon be starring in her own Bravo spin-off series.

NeNe didn’t have much to say on that topic. “I think that every woman needs to be independent. You need to have a job. If that’s what’s happening in her life, great,” she told “Access Hollywood.”

Speaking of independent women, NeNe is expecting to be a single woman again in just a few weeks and if she has her way, she’ll be marrying again.

“I absolutely love being married, and I think love is a beautiful thing… I love love. The sooner it comes the better,” she said.

Although she has yet to deny that she still has lots of love for Gregg, it seems as though her next love interest may differ from her husband of 15 years in at least one way.

She named Simon Cowell and Anderson Cooper as “hot” men who are her type. It remains to be seen whether NeNe’s next relationship will include a little swirl.

NeNe also talks about “Dancing with the Stars.” Would she do it? Watch.
