Beyoncé wants to blend in

Beyoncé admitted that there are days she wishes she weren’t so darn famous.

During a sitdown with "Entertainment Tonight Canda," the "Countdown" singer was asked whether there are ever moments where she’d just like to shed her superstar status.

"Sometimes, but I always have those moments," she graciously admitted. "But it’s my life and I can’t complain. I’m very fortunate, I love what I do."

Bey shared that she was a little surprised at the reaction to her baby bump. The singer had been expecting photographers to get even more ravenous than ever before, but instead they’re keeping their distance. "It’s strange," she said, "but I’ve gotten a lot of respect from paparazzi, and people just kind of let me live."

Beyoncé is also glad that news of her pregnancy has been well-recieved thus far. She was halfway expecting people to get annoyed with her baby bump.

"I was so…just wondering how is it going to be when one day I am pregnant and everyone’s like, ‘Oh, God! I don’t wanna hear this again!’" the diva said. "I’m happy, people were happy. And I actually didn’t announce it; I didn’t want to put it in a statement. I said, ‘It’s better to just show everyone.’"

While Bey has admitted to having a blast with maternity clothes, she is still getting adjusted to the other changes in her body…particularly her heightened sense of smell.

"Oh! My nose is like, ‘doot, doot,  doot, doot, doot, doot’!" Bey said while mimicking a radar. "I smell everything! [Pregnancy] enhances it. If it smells bad, I smell it!"

For example, these days, the singer’s not so crazy about the way Jay-Z smells.  "My husband’s fragrance, his one that I always love, I hate right now. So, thank God I love this one," she said with a laugh in reference to her new perfume Pulse.
