    It’s a boy for Ne-Yo and Monyetta

    Ne-Yo has revealed that he and girlfriend Monyetta Shaw will be welcoming a son. The singer let the good news slip to Uptown magazine at the ASCAP Awards.

    “I’ve always prided myself on being able to make music that everybody can listen to and that’s not [going to] change," Ne-Yo said. "That’s just reinforced now that I have a little girl and a little boy on the way. Yeah, I’m doing the same thing I’ve been doing."

    The baby boy will be joining big sister Madilyn, who is now 10 months old.

    Ashanti announces ‘No Good’ single

    Ashanti has revealed the lead track from her upcoming album. The singer dropped by "The Today Show," where she announced that "No Good" will be her next single.

    After waiting three years for new material from Ashanti, she said "No Good" will be out soon and "it’s so phenomenal."

    In the meantime, Ashanti fans can hear her on "Never Too Far Away," the title track from the new horror flick Dream House.

    ‘Mortal Kombat’ making big screen comeback

    New Line Cinema is ready to bring Mortal Kombat back to the big screen. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the studio has just agreed to produce a reboot of the movie based on the iconic fighter video game. 

    Support for the new Mortal Kombat movie came from the recent web series "Mortal Kombat: Rebirth," which starred Michael Jai White. After it’s debut in April, the series garnered 50 million unique views.

    Mortal Kombat
    will be directed by Kevin Tancharoen, who also directed the web series.




    Nia Long having another boy

    Love Jones and The Best Man actress Nia Long is already a mom to 10-year-old Massai Zhivago Dorsey II, and she’ll be having another boy, according to metro.co.tt.

    “I am a little excited; for a long time I thought Massai would be an only child,” she said of her pregnancy. “It’s like a surreal moment for me. I can’t believe it’s happening; I am happy, I am excited.”

    She doesn’t have plans to marry her significant other Ime Udoke yet, but Nia hasn’t ruled it out.

    “One never knows what will happen in the future. He’s my best friend. We have very unique ways of viewing life; we are very compatible and we are content and we are so excited about the baby,” she said.
