Happy Anniversary, President and Mrs. Obama!

President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama are celebrating 19 years of holy matrimony!

Congrats to one of our favorite power couples, on another year of marital bliss!

During a live online interview with George Stephanopoulos, the president shared some of the best advice his wife has given him during their nearly two decades as man and wife.

"When all is said and done, the mark of success is do you have children who are happy and healthy and able to go out there and function as responsible, loving people," he said. "So far, so good."

The big key to their success is Michelle’s focus of keeping their family on the top of their to-do list. Whether it’s a parent-teacher conference or a soccer game, the first couple is there. The president might have a country to run, but Michelle has made it her job to keep their girls a priority.

"That steady drumbeat from Michelle was exactly right," the president said. "It’s part of the reason why I believe not only are the kids doing okay, but it provides me just a constant source of joy and sustenance."

The president admits that parenting in the White House presents some interesting challenges. It’s certainly not the type of lifestyle that most kids can relate to. For example how does he let his girls have sleepovers, or go to movies or the mall? How does he allow his daughters to be young while keeping them safe?

As President Obama said, Sasha and Malia still do all of the things normal kids do, but they just have "a guy with a gun" following them around. The same things goes for Michelle, who was spotted shopping at a Target in Alexandria, Virginia, last week.

Cameras caught Michelle trying to go incognito at the store as she picked up cleaning supplies. Though it was hard for her to not stand out (despite her sunglasses and baseball cap, her signature style is easy to spot), several members of the secret service did a much better job of blending in as they accompanied her in plain clothes.

See what else the president had to say about family life and his take on being pegged as the underdog this election season in the video below.
