Tyrese and Taraji team up for new flick

Tyrese and Taraji P. Henson are reuniting again for another film project.

Tyrese just revealed that he and Taraji have each signed on for a new flick to be directed by John Singleton.

“Official.. Me and my girl Taraji are doing another classic together soon!! John Singleton will be directing us. And not it’s not BB2," he tweeted Friday afternoon, noting the movie would not be a follow-up to Baby Boy.

Taraji and Tyrese plaid the dysfunctional lead couple in Baby Boy about 10 years ago, and the movie put each of them on the map. That film was directed by John Singleton. The actors work so well together that it lead some to speculate that they had an off-camera romance.

Those rumors popped up again as Tyrese asked Taraji to be his leading lady in the video for "Stay." Supposedly the two were romantically linked again in the tabloids, and the singer headed straight to Twitter to deny reports.

"I guess 2 sexy people with good chemistry can’t do a video… Lol! -TnT- make em go BOOM!!!" he tweeted. "Trash paper tabloids are the worst… I normally don’t speak on rumors but this is crazy… My publicist is gonna make it go away."
