    Holly Robinson Peete gets back on CBS

    Just weeks after she was released from "The Talk," Holly Robinson Peete has a new gig on CBS!

    According to The Hollywood Reporter, she’s landed a recurring role on the hit sitcom "Mike & Molly." She’ll reportedly be playing the love interest of Mike’s police partner.

    It’s not clear when Holly’s episodes will air at this time.

    Kim Zolciak sends out wedding invites

    Kim Zolciak is rolling right along with her wedding plans. The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star announced earlier this week that she and her NFL beau Kroy Biermann are engaged.

    Yesterday, TMZ.com reported that the pair has sent out the invites for their November 11, 2011 nuptials. Guests attending the wedding do have to agree to a few stipulations.

    “In order to protect our privacy on our special day, no cameras or cell phones will be allowed on [the] property," the couple said in a statement sent out with invitations. Confirmed attendees will also need to present a photo ID and sign a release before they can be seated as the ceremony will be taped by Bravo.

    Big Boi cops a plea

    Big Boi has avoided jail time in his drug case. E! News reports that the OutKast rapper agreed to submit to three months of drug testing.

    In exchange, felony charges from his August arrest, when authorities found him with a number of drugs including Viagra, will disappear. Big Boi has also been ordered to complete 30 hours of community service and donate $2,000 to charity.


    Maya Rudolph talks ‘Up All Night’

    “Up All Night” co-star Maya Rudolph is a mom with a new hit sitcom. However, she says she’s been able to keep up the pace so far.

    "I think when you’re busy, things sort of tumble forward and you have to keep up,” said Maya, who plays a famous talk-show host on the NBC series.

    Although Maya portrays a celebrity who came from humble beginnings, she assures that she is not channeling Oprah Winfrey.

    “People always think I’m doing Oprah," said Maya. "You definitely have to have cojones—I think—to be a talk show host. I don’t think I could personally pull it off being myself. I like being characters."

    Maya also talked to “Access Hollywood” about the stars’ obsession with their real-life kids. Watch.


    The HALO Awards returns

    The 2011 HALO Awards returns to Teen Nick on Sunday, November 6.

    According to network president, Nick Cannon, HALO stands for Helping and Leading Others, and the awards show honors teens who make a difference in their communities.

    Lady Gaga and David Beckham are among the celebrities slated to present trophies to the 2011 honorees.
