    Ne-Yo and Monyetta welcome baby boy

    Monyetta Shaw has delivered her second child with R&B singer Ne-Yo. The crooner announced via Twitter that he and his babymama welcomed their new son earlier this month.

    "Sal-u twit fam. If you are truly fam you’ll help me welcome the heir to my throne, born OCT.9TH at 6 pounds, 10 ounces! Mason Evan Smith!" he wrote.

    Mason joins big sister Madilyn Grace, who is less than a year old.

    Jordin Sparks covers Etta James

    It wasn’t exactly singing for her supper, but Jordin Sparks hit the stage during a dinner with her Sparkle cast mates.

    According to TheYBF.com, the singer was at Cliff Belles in Detroit over the weekend with Tika Sumpter, Carmen Ejogo and Whitney Houston when she hopped on the mic for an impromptu performance. "Had an amazing time w/ the cast at Cliff Belles tonight! Ended up on stage singing one of my faves, At Last. #goodtimes #ILML (ilovemylife)," Jordin tweeted.
     

    Salim Akil, who is directing the highly anticipated remake of Sparkle, was also at the table for dinner.

    Keyshia Cole announces album title

    It was a big weekend for Keyshia Cole who celebrated her 30th birthday on Saturday.

    The "Long Way Down" singer threw herself an ’80s-themed birthday bash in Cleveland.

    But Keyshia had more to celebrate than hitting such a big milestone. She also announced via Twitter that the title of her new album will be Woman to Woman, which is coming out in February.

    “So excited about this album! Although Ron Fair is no longer with Geffen records, N i’m very accustomed 2 him being here. MY NEW TEAM IS GR8,” she tweeted. “I will name them all very soon. New team. New life. New album. My child. My husband. 30’s are the new 20’s LOL. AND SO FORTH AND SO ON.”
