Sheree Whitfield talks ‘RHOA’ 4 drama

Sheree Whitfield said fans shouldn’t expect the same old Sheree on season 4 of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

“I don’t want to spoil it, but you’ll definitely see another side of me,” she said, hinting at drama between her and her co-stars.

A preview of the new season shows Sheree arguing with NeNe Leakes, an exchange Sheree said is one of many she couldn’t avoid.

“It gets pretty heated … a couple different times. I’m always in the midst of something. I try to stay away from it, and I’m constantly being pulled in. I don’t like drama. I’m not going to start anything. If you keep—it’s only so much a person can take. I try to avoid you as long as I can, but I can finish it in the end. I try to avoid it, but you can only do so much, especially when you have ignorant people around you,” she told Sister 2 Sister.

However, that’s not to suggest fans will only get to see Sheree arguing. She said viewers will see more of her family life this time.

“I spent a lot of time with my family. We have a great time. There’s no drama there … love and fun times,” she said noting that there is some drama between her and her ex, whose alleged failure to pay sufficient child support landed the two in court this season.

“He’s not paid in a long time, and I just kinda tried to give him the benefit of the doubt while he was trying to get on his feet. The kids and I are fine. So, I really didn’t stress it, but every now and then, I’d make comments to him, and it was just something that probably should have been done a long time ago, but we’re just starting to take action now,” said Sheree, who admitted there was an incident that caused her to finally drag him into court, and fans will likely be able to see all that play out on the show.

“It’s really my life,” she said, assuring that she’s not pumping up the drama for the cameras.

“Maybe some of the other people are putting on. I know someone in particular who’s put on since season 1, but it’s my real life. I’m not pretending to be something I’m not. I’m not the amp-up girl. It’s real,” she said.
