Toni Braxton explained why she decided to end her professional relationship with her brother-in-law and former manager, Vince Herbert.
“It wasn’t bad,” she said about their separation. “It was too much. He’s my brother-in-law and my manager, and he managed my sisters… It was too much. You gotta see the second season ‘cause a lot of stuff comes out,” said Toni, who intimated it might be baby sister Tamar disseminating all the information.
“She feels comfortable telling everyone’s business except for hers,” said Toni, who reiterated that Tamar wants to be in the spotlight.
“She is very talented, and she’s always been in my shadow, and she’s eager to have her moment,” she said. “My sister Tamar is fixated on saying that background singers are out of style.”
While that sounds like the same old Tamar from season 1, Toni said Tamar has moved away from adding “.com and .net” to the end of every sentence.
“She still does that a little bit,” but it seems she’s focused on teaching her viewers about grammar these days.
“She’s doing punctuation now,” Toni told VH1’s "Morning Buzz" webseries.
As for Toni, she said she’s remained the same for season 2.
“I’m still me. I’m cautious that the cameras are there. My other sisters I think they forget, so there are going to be a lot of personal things that the world should not know about,” Toni said.
Toni also talks about her illness and her dating life. Watch.
