Although she received criticism again for her strong, take-no-prisoners personality, “America’s Next Top Model” All-Star, Bianca Golden, said she’s not changing.
Bianca was eliminated from the show after refusing to pose in a bathtub full of water to promote a fragrance. The judges concluded that she has a problem taking direction, but Bianca said other models—who have yet to be eliminated—were less agreeable than she was.
“I think it was hypocritical. Shannon [Stewart of cycle 1] doesn’t do certain things and they kept her again. The difference is, she says it with a smile, and I say it bluntly. Everybody takes it differently. I guess my attitude can hinder me a little bit, but it’s also gotten me where I’m at. I don’t want to change for anyone,” she told Sister 2 Sister.
While some seem to find her personality abrasive, Bianca said she’s just not going to settle for less than she deserves.
“I think they made me look like a cocky beast, and it’s not the truth. I’m proud of my accomplishments, and I do brag sometimes, but when you work as hard as I do, you should. They made it seem like I have no humility. I think that’s hilarious to me,” said Bianca, who refused to fully participate in the challenge by arguing that Beyoncé wouldn’t do it.
“My comparison to Beyoncé and Kanye West, I was just simply stating that to get where you want to get, you shouldn’t compromise everything that you have. That’s foolish. I stand by my decisions that I made on the show,” she said.
She didn’t walk away with the win, but she did leave the All-Star season with a new professional goal.
“My project right now is to make sure I’m consistently visible to people so they know I’m still here.”
That’s something her more than 12,500 Twitter fans likely won’t mind.
