    Lil Kim announces book

Lil Kim is  getting ready to share the story of her life in two new projects.

MTV News reports that Kim is coming out with an autobiography called The Price of Loyalty and an as-yet-untitled documentary.

"I’ve been independent. You know I left my record company two years ago. I was in another situation and that’s going to be in the documentary, as well," Kim revealed during an interview on Streetsweeper Radio. "I am not sure if I’m going to separate that documentary from that book. That’s what we’re trying to figure out right now."

Supposedly the book will cover everything from the early days of her career, to her time behind bars and its lingering effects on her life. There’s no word on when either of those projects will be out.

Gayle King joins CBS ‘Early Show’

Oprah’s close friend Gayle King is getting her own talk show as a part of network CBS’ plan to revive its morning show ratings.

According to USA Today, The “Early Show” allows Gayle to have her own morning segment that focuses mainly on women and their interests. It’s scheduled to start January 9.

Gayle said she wants to give her currently untitled talk show “150 percent,” which means that now Gayle has had to let go of her satellite radio show and its TV broadcast on the Oprah Winfrey Network. Still, she said Oprah is “certainly cheering me on.” Gayle will still be editor-at-large of O magazine.
