‘Love & Hip Hop’ ratings win for VH1

The season 2 premiere of "Love & Hip Hop" helped put VH1 on top Monday night.

The network has announced that the reality show pulled in nearly 4 million viewers  between it’s 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. broadcasts on November 14. The season finale of "Basketball Wives: LA" didn’t do too badly either, with 3.8 million viewers for Monday night.

And both shows were a hit on social media as  they generated about 12 trending topics, including the obvious #LoveAndHipHop and  #BasketballWivesLA hashtags.

"Love & Hip Hop" got off to an explosive start as Chrissy Lampkin sucker punched Kimbella as the cast celebrated Emily Bustamente’s new-found independence from babydaddy Fabolous.

Kimbella revealed during a toast to Emily that she’d actually dated Fab while Emily was carrying his child. Although Emily was clam about the situation, Chrissy lost her cool and knocked Kimbella right out of her dress.

The altercation could present some problems for Chrissy since her fiance Jim Jones is very close Kimbella’s man, Juelz Santana.

Chrissy realizes that her actions were a little extreme, but does she feel bad about what she did? Find out when you watch a sneak peek of the next episode below!

Many of our reader have speculated that Chrissy snapping on Kimbella was just misdirected anger over Nancy Jones’s diss track, "Psychotic." It doesn’t look like the controversial single is going anywhere as it has just been released on iTunes.
