KKK robes headed to African-American History museum

Along with artifacts from the Civil Rights movement and paraphernalia from iconic stars like Michael Jackson and Run DMC, the Smithsonian Museum of African-American History will also have KKK robes on exhibit.

Two different families donated the two robes to the museum. One was given by the family of Stetson Kennedy, an activist and writer who infiltrated the KKK 60 years ago to expose its inner workings, the Washington Post reports. The descendants of a Ku Klux Klan chaplain donated another.
