    Dem Babies are talking

Aww, they grow up so fast!  It seems like only yesterday that  Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey were introducing the world to their long-awaited offspring, Morroccan and Monroe.  Now the proud papa said his babes are already starting to talk!

"They say words, they do!" Nick told Us Weekly. "Not too many words. Just mamma, dadda, and babba. That’s it!"

Being a dad has really put things in perspective for Nick, and he doesn’t want to miss a single utterance from his kids.

"[Fatherhood] has probably made me prioritize my life better," he said. "Spend more time on the things that actually matter in the world [rather] than just trying to be too frivolous. [I] know that it’s a ticking clock and [my] kids are growing every single day.

    ‘Basketball Wives’ returns in February

Just in time for hearts and cupid arrows, fans who’ve fallen in love with Shaunie O’Neal, Jennifer Williams, Evelyn Lozada, Tami Roman, Suzie Ketcham and Royce Reed will get more of their favorites.

VH1 has announced that season 4 of the hit reality series, based in Miami, will return in February, and it looks as though all the favorites will be back, despite previous rumors that Evelyn, Tami and Royce were all contemplating bailing on the show.

This season promises to pick up where season 3 left off.

“Shaunie is on the path to establishing herself as a business mogul. Evelyn and Jenn’s 12-year friendship is in a precarious position. Strong-willed Tami continues to be a force to be reckoned with both socially and now in business. Royce and Suzie attempt to navigate uncharted waters as new chapters open in their lives,” reads a VH1 release that also gives some insight into the newcomers.

“Kesha Nichols survived every girl’s worst nightmare, having her engagement broken off by her ball playing fiancé, just hours before their wedding.  Kenya Bell is in the process of finalizing a divorce from a basketball star and is one of the most notorious and controversial wives in the league,” according to the release.

Leading up to the premiere, cast members will be participating in a live stream that starts, December 8.

    Is Tyra Banks a phony?

The Tyra Banks that “America’s Next Top Model” fans see each week is not the real deal.

The model and entrepreneur recently told Larry King that she created a persona for the show.

“When I did my show, created my show or whatever, I also created a persona on ‘Top Model.’ And it’s a character. So, when I’m sitting there and I have all this makeup on, and I’m like, ‘Your picture’s not fierce…’ talking all that and reprimanding the girls, that is a character… In real life I’m passive aggressive. I’m anti-confrontational; I’m even in coaching to learn how to be confrontational,” said the Harvard student.

Whatever Tyra does to make ‘ANTM’ work, it has become one of the longest-running reality competition shows on TV. The 17th cycle of the series comes to a close this Wednesday.

There are three contestants remaining, including Angelea Preston, D’Amato and Laura Kirkpatrick.

    NeNe Leakes shows off T-shirts

In between brushing off haters and working the talk-show circuit, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe  Leakes found time to do a photo shoot to help promote her new line of T-shirts.

Taking a page from the Evelyn Lozada book of branding, NeNe’s shirts are emblazoned with many of her most popular phrases, including the season 4 zinger, “I’m very rich b!tc#.”

NeNe has been the topic of a lot of conversation in the current season of the series, but in her BravoTV.com blog, she thanked her naysayers.

“All of this nonsense has truly backfired, because it has helped me in every way. So for that I say thank you!,” NeNe wrote.

    Kandi Burruss confronts NeNe Leakes

In a deleted scene from “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Kandi Burruss confronts NeNe Leakes about the swift exit she made from Kandi’s birthday party.

Although there were glasses within arms reach, the ladies didn’t resort to drink tossing, but NeNe made it clear that she was uncomfortable with Kandi’s gift, Redickulous.

“I thought the gift was tacky,” she said. “What day of the week or the do you think it is appropriate for some man to bend over and suck his own penis?” NeNe asked.

    Is Kelly Rowland leaving ‘X-Factor’?

As a judge on the British version of “X-Factor,” Destiny’s Child alumna Kelly Rowland relocated to the UK. However, in a recent interview she hinted that she might be returning to the U.S.

“I couldn’t move to the UK. My mama has found it really hard me being here for the show. So next year I’m planning on moving back,” she said at a recent event.
    That’s not all.

The singer also intimated that she wants to do more performing.

“’X Factor’ next year? We’ll see. I definitely would love to go on tour though, so that will be my focus for next year."

According to the Daily Mail, Kelly might not be kissing the franchise good-bye entirely. There are rumors that she may be replacing Nicole Scherzinger as a judge on the U.S. version of the series.
