    Jackie Christie pitches new show

"Basketball Wives: LA" may have just been approved for another season, but it looks like Jackie Christie would like to break out on her own.

According to The Insider, "Jackie will have a full plate in 2012 as she prepares to release her new book aimed at couples and how to focus on intimacy. We’re also told she just shot a pilot for BET.”

There’s no word on what the show could possibly be about, but it will most likely be based on her married life with Doug Christie.

    Charles Grant arrested

Just days after his big debut on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," it’s been revealed that Charles Grant has been locked up.

According to Mugshots Online, the former NFL player was booked November 28 on felony charges of writing bad checks.

Charles’ ex-fiancée Marlo Hampton didn’t have much to say on the matter, but offered him some support from afar.

"I truly regret that this has happened to him," Marlo told TheYBF.com.  "While my relationship with Charles ended earlier this year, I hope he will put these challenging circumstances behind him and move forward."

    Robin Thicke gets frisky

No one can say that Robin Thicke doesn’t love his wife, Paula Patton. They’ve been together for 16 years, and despite rumors that they were headed for divorce, the couple is still going strong.

"You gotta be able to change with each other," Robin told The Breakfast Club. "Luckily, we’ve been able to adapt."

Over the years, the couple has devised a foolproof way to get past whatever differences they may have. "Everybody’s going to fight and argue and break some TVs and dishes and stuff," he said, "but somebody’s got to put on some lingerie once in a while. Hopefully it’ll be her."

Robin seemed pretty at ease during his chat on Power 105.1, and he was even open enough to admit that he and Paula have been offered their fair share of threesomes. The question is, did it ever go down?

    Mary J. Blige: awards matter

Awards aren’t a big deal to some artists, but that’s not the case for Mary J. Blige. During her sitdown with Piers Morgan, she admitted that the accolades still matter to her.

"I definintely still care about awards," she said. "it says, to me, that everything you’re doing … it’s not in vain."

And Mary’s not just talking about getting her props from the music industry, but also from her very devoted fans.

"What I do is not just about just music business. It’s about just what I am,"  Mary explined. "I’m always happy about it an award because it says, ‘Keep doing what you’re doing. You’re the best at what you do, and your peers and your fans appreciate it.”"

But when Mary finally gets her respect, who does she thank for the honor? She tells Piers in the video below!

Paula Patton ripped after ‘Mission’ filming

Paula Patton, who started filming Mission: Impossible five months after her son was born, said training for the movie was almost a gift.

“That first month was like nothing I’d ever experienced before. It was two-and-a-half hours of physical training [each day] … I was like sweating out toxins from the 12th grade,” she told “Access Hollywood.”

However, after a month, Paula said her focus switched from trying to get back in shape to learning the moves and what it would take to be a real spy.

After the film, she decided to add elements from her Mission training into her regular workout.

    “It became fun,” she said.

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star, NeNe Leakes, brought her “very rich” self to “The View” Wednesday.

NeNe didn’t share all her holiday plans, but she confirmed that she wouldn’t be spending the holidays with her former “associates” from the series.

While reality fans have witnessed romantic relationships fall apart in front of their eyes (NeNe and husband Gregg Leakes are no longer together), she said the same is true for platonic friendships.

“Relationships break up because you’re on television. I don’t know what reality TV does, but it breaks up relationships,” said NeNe, whose relationship with co-star Kim Zolciak also deteriorated on camera.
