‘RHOA’ recap: 12.14.11

Bravo gifted viewers with an extra helping of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" this week!

Fans are used to settling on Sunday nights to see what NeNe Leakes, Sheree Whitfield, Phaedra Parks, Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss and Kim Zolciak are up to.

The ladies have some much going on, though, that it’s hard to cram all their business into an hourlong show! That’s probably why Bravo surprised "RHOA" fans with an extra episode on Tuesday night.

If you missed it, just check out our recap.

Cynthia and NeNe stepped out to do a little shopping while they were still in NYC. Even though they were hours and hours away from Atlanta, the happenings in their hometown still came up.

So what was going on in ATL? Apparently Marlo Hampton and Charles Grant paid a little visit to "Kandi Koated Nights," where Kandi asked what really happened with him and NeNe. He evaded the question, and NeNe didn’t have any problem with that!

Cynthia also kept working her connections while in New York. Not only could she snag a minute with Russell Simmons, but the model also sat down for a chat Essence beauty editor Mikki Taylor.

Meanwhile, Sheree was also modeling…well she was showing off some of her outift options for her big court date. It was a good thing that Phaedra had Sheree try on a few looks for the child support proceedings because her client was about to make a major fashion faux pas.

Sheree thought that showing up in a designer outfit would make her look respectable. Phaedra schooled her about dressing for her case. Coming to court with an Hermes bag when you’re trying a financial matter? That’s a bad look.

Phaedra also wanted Sheree to be a little more body conscious. "I want the attention to be on the case, not that big ol’ booty. That thang is a monster," Phaedra said.  "Save that for the club after you win."

No amount of coaching could have prepared Phaedra or Sheree for what Bob Whitfield pulled out of his hat.

Apparently Phaedra did not have "something better", which left Sheree a little upset.

Kandi could definitely sympathize with having to battle a babydaddy to get him to handle his responsibilities.

On a lighter note, Kandi was trying to help her mom find someone special. Instead of hitting up clubs or the grocery store, Kandi went online to search for a potential match for her mom.
