Tami Roman is not worried about attempts to drag her into court.
The lawsuit brought against Tami by her former manager is just an attempt to gain publicity, a source close to the reality star told Sister 2 Sister.
TMZ.com reports that Jerry Silverhardt filed a suit claiming that Tami has yet to pay him for services he provided in association with season 3 of “Basketball Wives.”
However, a member of Tami’s camp said she’s done with Jerry and doesn’t owe him a thing. Reportedly, Tami doesn’t even talk to Jerry anymore. “He’s just looking for publicity,” said the insider. “We’re not giving him any shine. Tami hasn’t talked to him in more than two years.”
According to Jerry, it doesn’t matter how long it’s been since he and Tami have been in contact. He told TMZ that his oral contract with the reality TV star guarantees him 10 percent of all “Basketball Wives” earnings, all the way up to season 6.
It’s not clear whether Jerry also has this agreement on paper.
This isn’t the first time Tami has had legal issues since she joined the show. Earlier this year, her season 3 co-star Meeka Claxton reportedly filed assault charges against Tami after their fight in Rome aired on VH1.
