Although she wasn’t able to give away too much information about the upcoming season of "Basketball Wives," Jennifer Williams did speak on the relationship between her and Evelyn Lozada.
“As far as our friendship, yea, we are definitely not on speaking terms,” Jennifer told radio personality TT Torrez.
The estranged wife of Eric Williams also addressed the rumors involving a physical fight between the two during Shaunie O’Neal’s birthday party earlier this month. “I don’t think I can confirm or deny," Jennifer said when asked whether Evelyn hit her in the head with a handbag. "I think anybody that has tuned into season 1 through 3 knows that I’m definitely not a fighter. That’s not even my character whatsoever. You definitely won’t find me fighting in Philippe Chow so I’m just going to leave it at that.”
Even though Jennifer and Evelyn’s friendship is seemingly non-existent now, Jennifer is not rejecting the idea that they could patch things up in the future. “Anything is possible, to be honest with you. The whole reason why we’re not speaking, I think is really trivial," she said. "Honestly, I don’t have a problem with Evelyn. She has a problem with me.”
Things between the two, who were so close knit during previous seasons, have been tense for awhile now, even to the public.
“I don’t feel the need to put stuff on Twitter…but yea she threw a couple jabs at me on Twitter,” Jennifer said.
Although things are far from perfect, Jennifer seems at peace with it all. She doesn’t want negative energy surrounding her.
"I’m at a point in my life where I’m getting rid of all of the negative energy, including my soon-to-be ex. So, my thing is like, nobody’s exempt at this point. If you’re bringing some negative energy and drama into my life, I’m good."
There are also two new additions to the season which begins in February. Kesha Nichols and Kenya Bell add to the “Basketball Wives” cast. Both Kesha and Kenya have made headlines in the past. Kesha made national news, when she was left at the altar without a groom a few years ago by Richard Jefferson. Kenya was in the news for stabbing her ex-husband, NBA athlete Charlie Bell. Jennifer said so far, “They seem cool.”
