The authenticity of Beyoncé’s first post-baby interview about the joys of motherhood is being called into question.
When UK Star magazine claimed that Bey chatted with them about being a parent, many people raised an eyebrow.
Afterall, the "1+1" singer and hubby Jay-Z chose when and where to reveal the pregnancy. As she went into labor, they even made sure to black out windows and fortify the delivery room with extra security. Then the new parents took their daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, home in the wee hours of the morning with a motorcade to ensure privacy and safety.
So, to think that Beyoncé would give an interview so quickly was baffling to many, and her fans the world over were more than skeptical about it.
Their suspicions were confirmed when Tina Knowles told "Access Hollywood" yesterday that the interview in UK Star was “completely made up.”
The magazine is standing by its article, however. Although the UK Star admits that they didn’t do the original interviews, they claim to have gotten approval to use the information from Beyoncé’s camp.
“It is not made up or fictitious at all. We bought the interview from a reporter in the U.S. who conducted the interview with Beyoncé before the birth," a UK Star editor asserted. "The reporter then obtained the ‘top-up’ info after the birth, which we believe to have been signed off by a girl on her LSM [labor service management] team.”
