Tracy Morgan collapsed Sunday night while attending an awards ceremony in Utah.
“From a combination of exhaustion and altitude, Tracy is seeking medical attention. He is with his fiancée and grateful to the Park City Medical Center for their care,” said Tracy’s spokesperson, Lewis Kay.
Earlier in the evening, the comedian and his fiancée posed for photos during the Sundance Film Festival event, but he declined to do interviews with media, “Entertainment Tonight” reported. The two also attended the awards show dinner where Tracy was reportedly “out of control, yelling and falling onto the ground.”
Tracy’s rep also dismissed rumors that the “30 Rock” star’s condition was a result of excessive drinking.
“Any reports of Tracy consuming alcohol are 100 percent false,” he clarified.
That’s an important piece of information for caregivers considering Tracy, 43, underwent a kidney transplant in 2010. He also suffers from diabetes.
Tracy wasn’t just an attendee at the event. He was actually being honored with the Spotlight Initiative Award, according to “Entertainment Weekly.” He was present at the ceremony long enough to receive his award and give his acceptance speech.
