Star Jones is returning to the show that made her a household name, "The View."
It’s been six years since Star has stepped foot on the set of "The View," and she didn’t exactly leave on the best of terms. She even characterized her former co-hosts, whom she once called "hateful," in her book Satan’s Sisters.
That’s why it came as something of a shock when E! News reported that Star would be returning to "The View" as a guest!
She’ll be sitting down with the ladies on February 22 to chat about her part in The American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign. Both Barbara Walters and Star underwent heart surgery in 2010. They hope to raise awareness about heart disease during the visit which Barbara commented on during today’s episode of "The View."
"Star and I have been heart-to-heart now for many years," Barbara said. "We’ve had lunches together and discussions together … we had open heart surgery within months of each other. So we are very happy to have her on, and it will be a nice day for all of us to see her."
It’s not clear whether Barbara will be presen for Star’s appearance, so fans will have to tune in to find out.
