    Ted Turner dated Marlo Hampton?

Who knew the founder of CNN was down with the swirl?! Marlo Hampton admits that her lifestyle is funded by dating well, but there’s now word that Ted Turner is one of her former Big Papas.

“Ted Turner was Marlo’s sugar daddy. My understanding is that Marlo is one of the reasons why Jane Fonda divorced Ted Turner," a source told Diary of a Hollywood Street King.

The media mogul wasn’t just handing over cash and gifts, he was helping to her to generate her own income by backing a shop of hers.

"Ted Turner is the ‘sponsor’ who financed the The Red Carpet Boutique Marlo had at the Perimeter mall in ATL," the tipster added. "Marlo knows how to get money, she’s a true hustler.”

Marlo has yet to comment on the rumors.

Barack Obama invited to ‘American Idol’

While some people have to stand in line for hours to audition, President Barack Obama’s few bars of “Let’s Stay Together” at a recent fundraiser may have earned him an instant spot on “American Idol.”

The show’s producer, Nigel Lythgow, tweeted, “@BarackObama we loved your vocal performance so much we’d love to invite you onto #AmericanIdol this Season for a duet with Al Green.”

However, Nigel backpedaled a bit when he realized he hadn’t cleared things with Al first.

“I may have screwed up? In my haste to send your invitation I failed to ask Al Green if he wants to sing with YOU? I’ll call,” he joked.
