One of the men allegedly assaulted by Ray J’s bodyguards, may be pressing charges.
The LAPD is investigating claims that RJ’s bodyguards, who are paid to protect him, beat two men, who reportedly approached the singer’s Rolls Royce on the street.
It’s not exactly clear what Phil, the only name attributed to the man who was recently knocked unconscious at the scene, will be suing for, but he’s telling TMZ that he was sucker-punched while trying to come to the aid of a friend.
Apparently, the two rumored instigators were intoxicated when they approached Ray J, and Phil’s friend made an off-color comment to the bodyguards when they asked him to distance himself from the vehicle.
Although the men apparently sustained injuries that warranted a call to the paramedics, neither was actually transported to the hospital.
However, Phil reportedly did visit the hospital later and now says he suffered a mild concussion.
Authorities have yet to get in contact with Ray or his bodyguards, who left the scene before the emergency vehicles arrived.
Although it seems Ray J had little to do with this particular instance, the singer has been tied to fighting recently. Last year, he apparently got into a tussle with Fabolous backstage at the Floyd Mayweather bout.
