Bobbi Kristina is out of the hospital and being comforted by her father as she copes with the loss of her mother Whitney Houston.
E! News reports that Bobbi was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles early Sunday morning after suffering a panic attack that was brought on by stress.
She was released from the hospital today and is said to be feeling much better.
That’s a marked improvement from earlier reports. TMZ.com sources had stated that Bobbi was "hysterical, exhausted and inconsolable" after being carted out of the Beverly Hilton on a stretcher. Just before her hospitalization, S2S heard that Bobbi was in the hotel lobby screaming, "I knew it! I knew it!"
Bobbi’s father, Bobby Brown flew out to be with his daughter during this difficult time. He did not appear at the New Edition reunion show in Nashville on Sunday night. A rep for the concert’s venue said that show went on without him.
According to the Associated Press, Bobby had a tough time getting through Saturday’s show, which he dedicated to Whitney. "First of all, I want to tell you that I love you all," he said after joining his band mates on stage, where he was greeted with a standing ovation. "Second, I would like to say, ‘I love you Whitney.’ The hardest thing for me to do is come on this stage."
Bobby told fans that their support of his career and the group was the main thing that got him to perform on Saturday. He requested that they extend a little of that support to his family, saying, "Just say a prayer for my daughter; say a prayer for her mother, and if you find the time please say a prayer for me because I am going to need it."
When Bobby and his fiancée, Alicia Etheridge, arrived in Los Angeles last night they were mobbed by paparazzi. They pushed through the crowd to get to their car as quickly as possible to avoid questions, and his security detail almost got into a scuffle while leading the couple to the vehicle.
"Obviously the death of her mother is affecting her, however, we will get through this tragedy as a family," Bobby said in a statement released Sunday. "Again, I ask for privacy during this time."
