Chris Brown accused of theft

Chris Brown just can’t catch a break! The singer could face robbery charges for allegedy snatching a fan’s phone.

TMZ.com reports that a woman named Christal Spann is claiming that Chris jacked her iPhone and drove off with it.

According to a police report filed with the Miami Beach Police Department, Christal saw Chris and rapper Tyga outside of a club. Allegedly, Chris got mad when he saw her whip out her phone and said, “B*tch, you ain’t going to put that on no website.”

Christal claims that Chris, who just released two songs with ex-girlfriend Rihanna, snatched her mobile phone and rolled up the window to his Bentley before speeding off.

Police are currently looking into the matter, but if he is guilty of the alleged theft, it could violate the terms of his probation.

Chris, on the other hand, swears that he is innocent. “Chris is telling friends that he has done nothing wrong,” a source close to the singer told RadarOnline.com. “Chris is hopeful that the evidence and the true facts of the case will result in no charges being made against him."

Supposedly, Chris is letting his defense lawyer Mark Geragos deal with the Florida State Attorney’s Office. He is also fully intent on cooperating with authorities in this incident.

"Chris is saying that a decision about whether or not charges will be filed against him could be decided and formally announced as early as Friday," the insider said. "He will do whatever his attorney asks him to do. He is no longer in the Miami, but if he needs to return for any reason, he certainly will. Chris has nothing to hide.”
